Ruth Roman was born on June 22, 1939 at Lynn Massachusetts. The actress is the eldest child of Lithuanian Jewish parents Mary Pauline Gold & Abraham Roman. Her father, a carnival barker, was killed when she was a small little girl. This forced her mother to support her family through work as a waitress and cleaning woman. Ruth attended the school in the tenement district of Boston's most deprived. But she only stayed in school for a couple of years, then taking a break to pursue her acting career. The path she chose to take turned out to be strewn with obstacles such as In New York, she obtained a job posing for stills for a magazine about crime However, the stage was not a match for her.
